So, even as he flew on his official aircraft, he didn’t miss out to send his obeisance to the deity. Visuals that have now become viral show the Prime Minister engrossed in watching the spiritual phenomenon on an electronic gadget.

The visuals were also testament to the fact that the prime minister didn’t relinquish his reverence. He left his slippers on the floor, thereby showing his respect.

Earlier in the day, around noon, sun rays bathed the forehead of the deity for a few minutes. With scientists being roped in, they created a marvelous apparatus that helped divert the sun rays on to the idol.

Incidentally, this is the first Ram Navami that is being celebrated at Ayodhya after the construction and consecration of the temple by Modi himself.

The inauguration took place on January 22, years after the top court ruled in favour of Hindus.
