Devaraje Gowda stresses Prajwal sexgate planned to spoil Modi's reputation

He adds that he doesn't trust SIT and wants a CBI probe into the matter

He also releases an audio clip in this regard which runs into 2 hours

Lawyer Devaraj Gowda, whose name features prominently in the sleazy videos released related to Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna has pointed fingers at Karnataka Dy CM DK Shivakumar for orchestrating the entire incident. 

To buttress his point, the lawyer audiocast a conversation that took place between him and DK Shivakumar. Interestingly, LR Shivarame Gowda, another prominent BJP leader in Karnataka introduced the lawyer to the Dy CM.

The audio runs into a massive 2 hours 37 minutes and the lawyer refused to play out the entire clip. Saying he would do it at the right time. 

He also alleged that the Congress party in the state is to be blamed for the entire fiasco, with an intention to besmirch the reputation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

He also alleged that Shivarame Gowda had been sent by Dy CM for a truce on May 5. But he added that he did not honour the truce traits. Therefore, he added that the CM held a high-level meeting with top IPS officials and instructed them to somehow indict the lawyer and give a clean chit to everyone else. 

The main motive, he reiterated, was to somehow target Modi and further blamed the Dy CM that he offered him plum posts if at all he honoured the entire ploy.
