The name Rajini itself has a larger-than-life image, this time too he’s back with yet another record. With his movie Coolie, he is all set to become the highest paid actor not just in India but also in Asia!

Lokesh Kanagraj, whose recent film Leo has received a positive response from the critics as well as the audience, is set to bring his next Thalaivar 171 with Rajinikanth. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film is expected to be a part of (LCU) Lokesh Cinematic Universe. According to reports, Rajini was also offered the distribution rights for a particular region, but he rejected the offer.

Anirudh Ravichander will compose music for the upcoming film which will have stunts by action choreographer duo Anbumani and Arivumani, popularly known as Anbariv.

The film also marks the reunion of Thailaiva with the veteran actress Shobana on screen. Shruti Haasan and Bollywood’s Ranveer Singh are rumoured to be playing significant roles in the movie.

The recently released teaser, which revealed the movie’s title, showcased Rajinikanth in a stylish and intense avatar, complete with fight sequences that involve weapons, watches, and gold chains.

With this movie, Rajinikanth will surpass Shah Rukh Khan as the highest paid actor in India.
