Sandalwood actress Sowmya Sathyanarayana also popularly known by her stage name Soundarya is known to one and all. Her role as Nagavalli in Apthamitra remains memorable. She has acted in films across various languages such as Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. 

She has featured in many successful films by being paired with star actors. Apathamitra starred Sandalwood stars such as Ramesh Aravind, late veteran actor Vishnuvardhan and actress Prema. It had broken records for the most amount of collection for a film.

Ramesh has now shared information regarding what transpired during the shooting of the climax of the film. This was during an interaction in the reality show titled ‘Mahanati’ (Great actress). He spoke about her performance. He expressed that Soundarya had a deep understanding of the character. He stated that by her performance one would really conclude that the evil spirit of Nagavalli indeed entered her body. He recollected that Soundarya had claustrophobia. This had shocked the audience who had gathered to view the reality show. 

People who experience claustrophobia may have symptoms such as difficulty in breathing. Being able to differentiate that one’s feeling isn’t always reflective of the truth is one of the ways to deal with claustrophobia.
