The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has offered a reward of ₹10 lakh for any information leading to the identification of the perpetrator behind the Rameshwaram Cafe blast in Bengaluru. The NIA assures that the identity of informants will remain confidential.

The explosion, which occurred at the renowned eatery, The Rameswaram Cafe, in Bengaluru, resulted in nine injuries. Following the incident, the police have initiated a thorough investigation, ruling out the earlier suspected gas leak as the cause of the explosion.

Authorities suspect that the blast might have been triggered by an improvised explosive device (IED) concealed in a bag within the premises. Both the NIA and the IB have been informed about the incident, and local NIA officials have joined the investigation.

Witnesses claim that the explosion originated from a bag placed by an unidentified individual outside the cafe. CCTV footage captured the moment of the blast, depicting smoke and chaos as customers and bystanders hurriedly fled the scene.

In response to the incident, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah emphasized the importance of a comprehensive investigation to determine the cause and nature of the explosion. He urged against politicizing the issue and called for full cooperation from the public. Siddaramaiah reassured that strict actions would be taken against those responsible for the attack.
