Rameshwaram cafe blasts: Suspect paid in cash for Rava Idlis in order to evade online trail

    Suspect walked into Rameshwaram cafe, left bag there itself

    He paid using cash to evade online trail

    In all, 9 have been injured in the incident

As investigations into the Rameshwaram Cafe blasts continue, it has come to light that the suspect had walked into the cafe with a bag. He had also relished a plate of Rava Idlis. All his actions have been captured on CCTV. 

It has also come to light that he walked into the cafe at 11: 15 in the morning, wearing a cap, a mask and a bag on his back. Later, he purchased the plate of idlis by paying in cash. The probing officers are now of the opinion that the suspect chose to pay in cash as he wanted to evade a possible online trail. 

Before entering the cafe, it is also learnt that he took a bus. He had also affixed a timer to the bomb. In all, 9 have suffered badly in the attack.
