NewsFirst Prime has got exclusive access to the footage of the twin blasts that took place at the Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru. In the two videos, it can be clearly seen how the bombs went off, thereby inflicting maximum damage on the people.

It was around 1 in the afternoon that the incident took place. As many as five people, all employees of a tech company, who were having lunch came under the line of fire. All of them are undergoing treatment in different hospitals.

The investigating police have recovered as many as seven bolts, pointing out to the fact that it is an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion. A forensics expert who spoke to NewsFirst Prime explained that the intentional use of bolts and nuts was with the motive to inflict maximum injuries to the public.

An FIR has been registered at the HAL police station. When reports last came in, National Investigative Agency (NIA) has taken over the probe into the incident.

The who’s who of the police department, including DG and IGP Dr Alok Mohan and Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayanand paid a visit to the spot.
