Love it or hate it, Ranbir Kapoor’s action film ‘Animal’ breaks records with its digital debut, accumulating 6.2 million views and 20.8 million hours of viewership in just 72 hours of its debut on OTT.

Despite being heavily criticized by even top actresses for the negative portrayal of women, there seems to be no stopping for it. After its wild run at the box office and earning around Rs 915 crores across the globe, it went on to become one of the top earners of 2023.

With the OTT, Animal isn’t just breaking records in viewership but it’s also a chart-topper, reigning supreme in Netflix India’s trending lists. The film is trending in the top 10 in no fewer than 16 countries. It has clinched the number one spot in markets like India, the Maldives, the UAE, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Qatar and Mauritius.
