Body builder-cum- actress Chitral Rangaswamy was one of the two rejected candidates who did not make it to the house for the tenth edition of Bigg Boss on account of accounting merely 38% of the votes.

In an interaction with NewsFirst she recounted her experience, many aspects of which were disappointing for her. “Initially I was told that I would be in consideration for the next season. But on the 6th of October, I received a call stating they are looking to fill one lost slot, however there would be a voting process. I expected 200-300 real audience to be involved in the voting, therefore I was confident of passing. But there were only a handful of people who did not seem genuine. If they were planning for such a process they could have gone with a jury of experts at least,” she stated.

She recounted that a preliminary shoot was conducted with her family from 12:30 AM-4:30 AM on October 7th and that she subsequently fell ill. But none of the content was broadcast before the voting process. She stated that she was not provided with a costume before heading onto the stage either. She was not aware that it would be telecasted either. She was disappointed at the workflow of the reality show. “Sudeep sir said that this a platform for people to change one’s track record, but my track record wasn’t even demonstrated,” she expressed.
