Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep concern and is actively monitoring Sinha’s condition, staying in direct communication with the medical team overseeing her care. In a message shared by AIIMS on X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister extended his prayers for her swift recovery, highlighting her contributions to Indian folk music.

Anshuman Singh, Sinha’s son, addressed the public via her official YouTube channel, describing this as a deeply challenging time. "Doctors are doing their best as my mother remains on life support. She is critically ill, but fighting hard," he stated. He also dispelled rumours circulating on social media about her demise, urging well-wishers to continue their prayers.
