Police have put yeoman efforts to extract details

Darshan, others to be produced in court

Reports suggest that Darshan has not been cooperating with the investigating officers. So in order to get more and more details out of the box, the officers subjected the other accused to intense scrutiny. This is where they got more and more information.

Vinay, Nagaraj, Laxman and Pavan are the ones who the police subjected to investigation. All of these were interrogated separately. That is when the police got complete details. All these four were with Darshan throughout the planning and execution. 

In fact, Naga and Laxman were taken to Mysuru as Darshan had scooted there after the murder. The police were also able to extract travel history from them. 

From Chitradurga to Bengaluru where he was kidnapped to, from RR Nagar shed where he was beaten to death to the point where his body was disposed of, it is these four who were in the knowledge of things. 

Apart from them, two security guards, one at the RR Nagar shed who was witness to the killing and the other one, who saw the body being disposed of, have also testified under CrPC 164 before a magistrate. 

The police have also collected more than 40 CCTV footage to bolster their case.
