In a shocking turn of events, popular actor Darshan has been arrested in connection with the murder of a youth named Renukaswamy. Following four hours of intensive questioning, Darshan was presented in court after undergoing a medical check-up.

Appearing in the 24th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Court, Darshan answered all questions posed by Judge Vishwanath C. Gowder. Darshan’s lawyer firmly stated that the actor has no involvement in the murder, attributing the accusations to political malice. Pavitra Gowda is A1 and actor Darshan is A2 in this murder case.

“Darshan is being framed in this case due to political vendetta,” the lawyer argued. “His name is being tarnished intentionally, and he has no connection with the murder of Renukaswamy.”

However the public prosecutor who contested Darshan’s lawyer’s arguments cited influential persons involvement in this murder requires police custody for thorough interrogation. After hearing arguments from both the sides, judge ordered 6-day police custody of all the accused including Darshan and Pavitra Gowda in this murder case.

The case has drawn significant attention as Darshan, along with actress Pavitra Gowda and other team members, remain in police custody. The police have arrested 13 individuals, including Darshan, in relation to the kidnapping and murder of Renukaswamy in Bengaluru.
