Renukaswamy’s wife denies speculations about him being a Darshan fan

Sandalwood actor Darshan Thoogudeepa who was also known by the title of Challenging Star has been arrested by the police. 13 others have also been arrested along with Darshan. The family members of Renukaswamy are distraught over the recent developments. 

Renukaswamy’s mother was reduced to tears during his burial. She demanded capital punishment for those responsible for his murder. She was grieving over the  manner in which injuries were inflicted on Renukaswamy. The family members have claimed that he was abducted while he had left for his office. Renukaswamy’s final rites were conducted in accordance with the Veerashaiva-Lingayat tradition.

Renukaswamy’s wife denied speculations about him being a diehard fan of Darshan. “I am about to become a mother. How will I be able to manage? He did not inform us about any of this while he left the house. Nobody should face such a predicament. We did not know about him going to Bengaluru or meeting Darshan. He was not a fan,” she said. They affirmed that they would legally fight the injustice meted out to their family. 

Darshan spent the night of 11th July in a police lockup that he shared with 2 others. Pavithra was taken to a centre designated for women.
