Prabhas’ upcoming film, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,” directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, has secured an “A” certification from the censor board.

Scheduled for a theatrical release on December 22, 2023, the movie has been generating considerable anticipation. Following a recent censorship review, the film received an A certificate, boasting a runtime of 2 hours and 55 minutes. Speculation surrounding an additional trailer and an event for the film has added to the excitement.

This is not the first instance of a Prabhas film obtaining an A certificate. In 2013, his iconic film “Mirchi,” featuring Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay in pivotal roles, also received an A certificate. “Mirchi” played a pivotal role in reshaping Prabhas’ career and is regarded as one of his finest works.

Reports indicate that an action-packed trailer for “Salaar” is scheduled for release between the 16th and 18th of this month, aiming to amplify the buzz around the Prabhas-starrer.

However, current information suggests a potential absence of pre-release events, potentially disappointing numerous Prabhas enthusiasts. Notably, the makers are contemplating the release of the film’s first single ahead of the premiere, although an official date is yet to be confirmed.
