Salim Khan, the veteran screenwriter and father of Bollywood icon Salman Khan, encountered a harrowing incident during his routine morning walk in Mumbai.

On Saturday, while strolling in Bandra, a well-known area of the city, Salim Khan was approached by two individuals who issued a death threat, invoking the name of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

The unsettling encounter unfolded when a man on a scooter, accompanied by a woman wearing a burqa, confronted Salim Khan. The man menacingly asked, "Should I send Lawrence Bishnoi?" This direct reference to Bishnoi, known for his criminal activities and previous threats against Salman Khan, escalated the severity of the incident.

Following the threat, the Bandra Police swiftly intervened, apprehending the duo. The police have registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including those pertaining to criminal intimidation. The accused are currently in custody, and an intensive investigation has been launched to uncover the motives behind the threat and to ensure the safety of Salim Khan and his family.

This incident has not only alarmed the Khan family but also raised security concerns within the film fraternity. The Mumbai police are taking extra measures to prevent any further threats, reflecting the gravity of the situation involving one of Bollywood's most recognized figures.
