The 235-page Hema Committee report, which was published after redacting names of witnesses and accused individuals, highlighted the control exerted by a small group of male producers, directors, and actors in the Malayalam film industry. Despite being completed in 2019, the report's release was delayed due to legal challenges.

Samantha concluded by expressing that the Telugu film industry could greatly benefit from a Kerala-style committee.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen in the film 'Kushi' alongside Vijay Deverakonda and is set to appear in upcoming projects, including 'Bangaram' and the series 'Citadel: Honey Bunny,' slated for release in November.
