Those who are against the reservation are joining their party: Rahul
They welcome all those who are against reservation: Rahul
Whoever has been given reservations should continue to have them: Mohan
One of the allegations being made by the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) on the ruling government is that the reason they are on the lookout of 400 Lok Sabha seats is because they want to make changes to the Indian constitution and subsequently the system of reservation. The supposed protest of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) against the implementation of the Mandal Commission report and other statements made in the past are being used to push this position. However, in a recent event held in Hyderabad, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagawat refuted these allegations. “A video being circulated on social media says that the Sangh is against reservation. The Sangh offers its full support to all forms of reservations offered by the Constitution. The Sangh reiterates that whoever has been given reservations should continue to have them, as long as societal inequality exists,” Bhagawat mentioned.

Indian National Congress (INC) leader Rahul Gandhi attacked the RSS during a speech in Lakshadweep. “RSS chief makes a statement that RSS is not against reservation. It was he (Mohan Bhagawat) who had made a statement that he was opposed to reservation. Those who are against the reservation are joining their party. They welcome all those who are against reservation, and then he says he is not against reservation,” Rahul said.
