Online services will be temporarily inaccessible across all Escoms
Suspension for 10 days due to a scheduled software upgrade
The interruption in online services will occur from March 10 to 19
Online services will be temporarily inaccessible across all Escoms for a period of 10 days due to a scheduled software upgrade. During this time, all online services will be suspended.
The interruption in online services will occur from March 10 to 19. This outage will affect various services such as electricity bill payments and applications for new connections.
The Energy Department has issued an announcement regarding the unavailability of online services during this period. It’s important to note that there will be no change or disruption in power supply despite the software upgrade.
Customers of all Escoms in the state, including Bescom (Bangalore Electricity Supply Company), Gescom (Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company), Cescom (Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation), Mescom (Mangalore Electricity Supply Company), and Hescom (Hubli Electricity Supply Company) will be unable to access online services.
A grace period of 15 days will be necessary after the commencement of the server upgrade to fully restore online services.
Due to the software upgrade, making electricity payments may pose challenges during this period. However, the Energy Department has assured that electricity connections will not be disconnected as a result of payment delays caused by the upgrade.
