Government plans to enlist 1.2 lakh personnel for conducting this survey

In the wake of the Lok Sabha elections, the state government has planned doorstep reality check on its five guarantees. It is gearing up to conduct extensive surveys directly at people’s residences to ensure the delivery of the five guaranteed benefits and gauge the public sentiment regarding these five guarantee schemes.

To facilitate this comprehensive endeavour, the government plans to enlist 1.2 lakh personnel specifically for the purpose of conducting these reality check surveys. This initiative marks the commencement of a large-scale statewide survey.

The survey will entail the recruitment of dedicated guarantee volunteers who will be tasked with gathering feedback on schemes such as Gruhalakshmi, Gruhajyoti, Shakti Yojana, Yuva Nidhi and Anna Bhagya Yojana.

The survey methodology involves:

  • Deployment of volunteers across the state.
  • House-to-house visits to collect feedback on the delivery and perception of the guaranteed benefits.
  • Engagement of Anganwadi workers, Asha workers, and personnel from various departments to assist in the survey process.
  • The survey will span over a period of 10-15 days, with each participant receiving an incentive of Rs. 1000.
  • Supervision of the survey will be undertaken by District Collectors and Chief Operating Officers.
  • Each staff member will be responsible for surveying approximately 100 to 120 households.
  • The expenses for this initiative will be covered by the Gruhalakshmi Yojana grant under the Department of Women and Child Welfare.

This proactive approach aims to ensure accountability, transparency, and the effective delivery of five guarantee schemes to the citizens, thereby strengthening the bond between the government and the people.
