Deveraje Gowda's house was searched

More than 30 officials were involved in raids

Bars, hotels, offices and houses were raided

The case pertaining to the obscene videos supposedly featuring National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate from Hassan, Prajwal Revanna has caused shockwaves across the country. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) looking into the case is also focusing on how the videos were shared in the lead up to the 2nd phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. In this regard, raids were conducted over several places in Hassan on May 14th. People close to the former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Preetham Gowda are believed to have been targeted during the raids. More than 30 officials were involved in this process.

Quality Bar Satish, H.P Kiran and Vallabhai Road Puneet are some of the individuals who are suspects in this case. Bars, hotels, offices and houses of these individuals were searched. Information related to the case and evidence in support of the SIT’s findings were sought after during the raid. 

The house belonging to Deveraje Gowda who is believed to have had access to the videos was also searched. Apart from his house, his office was also raided. The outcome of these raids on the case will become clear shortly.
