Sonu Gowda arrested for illegal adoption of 8-year-old girl

The girl is now in the custody of officials of department concerned

Actress Sonu Gowda was arrested over an illegal custody of an 8-year-old girl. Though the actress claims she had been adopted, officials of the department concerned took her into custody. It is said the actress did not follow due procedures during the adoption. 

Even as the child remains in custody of the officials, it has come to light that the child has given a thumbs up to the way Sonu Gowda has treated her. It is learnt that the girl informed the officials that the actress was bountiful in granting her whatever she sought. 

Furthermore, it is learnt that the child revealed that she was brought to the city in order to pursue her education in English. When the officials informed the child that there were good English schools in her hometown, the girl emphatically answered in the negative. 

On parents 

When the officials questioned her over her desertation from her parents, the child said that Sonu would frequently call up the parents via videocall and ensure she spoke to them frequently. 

It can be recalled that Sonu Gowda shot to fame with her participation in Bigg Boss Kannada, a reality show.
