Hardik Pandya smashed his maiden List A century in Vijay Hazare Trophy, hitting 5 sixes & a boundary in one over, though Baroda lost to Vidarbha
Hardik Pandya delivered a breathtaking performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, scoring his maiden List A century for Baroda against Vidarbha. The all-rounder, who had reached 66 runs off 62 balls, stunned spectators by completing his century in a single over of sheer power hitting.
In the 39th over, bowled by spinner Parth Rekhade, Pandya unleashed five consecutive sixes. On the final delivery, though the ball did not connect cleanly with the bat, it raced away to the boundary, taking him to the three-figure mark. This remarkable feat showcased Pandya’s explosive batting ability and his knack for turning games around with aggressive stroke play.
