Mahieka Sharma breaks silence on engagement buzz after viral photos with Hardik Pandya

A sparkling ring in recent pictures sparked engagement chatter online, but Mahieka Sharma has clarified where things stand with Hardik Pandya.

Relationship speculation around Hardik Pandya and Mahieka Sharma intensified this week after the cricketer posted a series of affectionate photos with her on social media. The highlight was a large ring on Mahieka’s finger, prompting widespread rumours that the couple had secretly got engaged. The actor-model has now responded, putting the speculation to rest.

Mahieka addressed the talk with a light-hearted Instagram post featuring a black kitten with pink-tinted fur, noting that the internet had assumed she was engaged simply because she enjoys wearing stylish jewellery. In another humorous update, she hinted that pregnancy rumours might follow next, sharing a meme of a man driving a toy car as a playful response to the growing gossip.

The speculation began after Hardik uploaded a set of personal moments documenting what he described as the “big 3” in his life, cricket, his son Agastya, and Mahieka Sharma. The post included scenes of the two performing a pooja together, exchanging a kiss, working out at the gym, and a mirror selfie where Hardik held her in his arms.

Their relationship became public in October, shortly after dating rumours surfaced. Hardik’s earlier Instagram Stories had shown the two together in a swimming pool, with Mahieka referred to as his “11:11 wish.” Prior to this, he was linked to UK singer Jasmin Walia, though the two later unfollowed each other, signalling a split.

Hardik’s personal life has drawn attention since his separation from actor Natasha Stankovic in 2024. The former couple, married in 2020, continue to co-parent their son Agastya.

With Mahieka’s latest posts clarifying the situation, engagement speculation has been firmly dismissed, at least for now.
