The pitch in Ahmedabad has been prepared using a mix of red and black soil. However, the amount of red soil used is said to be higher. This type of surface is expected to produce good bounce, allowing the ball to come nicely onto the bat. Because of this, cricket experts believe the match could turn into a high-scoring game, with plenty of runs likely in both innings.
The T20 World Cup 2026 also carries a significant prize pool. The total prize money for the tournament is ₹120 crore. The team that wins the final will receive ₹27.48 crore as the champion’s prize. The runner-up team will earn ₹14.65 crore, while the teams that reached the semi-finals will receive ₹7.24 crore each.
