RCB let go of Harshal Patel and Wanindu Hasaranga

They have roped in  Alzarri Joseph and Lockie Ferguson

IPL 2024 will start on March 22

Ahead of IPL 2024 season, former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has lambasted Royals Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for the weak bowling they possess. He was particularly upset with the franchise letting go of  Harshal Patel and Wanindu Hasaranga.

They have roped in  Alzarri Joseph and Lockie Ferguson.

The batting legend went on to state that the bowling has unquestionably become weak with the two being released, but added that letting go of Josh Hazlwood was understandable.

It can be noted that both Harshal Patel and Hasaranga have the talent of bowling well in the middle and even the final overs. Now that they are no more part of the team, Gavaskar adds they have not done any good for their cause.

This edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will start on March 22 and go on till May 26. As many as 10 teams will participate in the event, with 74 matches to be played.

For this edition, RCB will be captained by Faff Du Plessis and coached by former Zimbabwean cricket Andy Flower.
