Initially set to clash with Rajinikanth’s ‘Vettaiyan,’ Suriya revealed that he decided to postpone ‘Kanguva’ out of respect for the veteran actor. Speaking at the event, Suriya acknowledged Rajinikanth’s enduring legacy in Tamil cinema, stating, “Rajinikanth has been an identity of Tamil cinema for over 50 years. He began acting when I was just born. It’s only right that we give way to his film.”
