Promising young cricketer KC Cariappa, part of the Karnataka Ranji team and currently playing for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, finds himself embroiled in a controversy as fraud allegations surface against him. The allegations stem from a complaint filed by his former girlfriend at the RT Nagar police station, accusing Cariappa of deceiving her under the pretense of marriage.

Speaking exclusively to NewsFirst Prime, the complainant said, “Our acquaintance began on Instagram. Allegedly, Cariappa, in the course of our relationship, made assurances of marriage. The situation took a distressing turn when I became pregnant, and Cariappa coerced me into undergoing an abortion.”

Speaking to NewsFirst Prime, the woman who lodged a complaint against Karnataka cricketer KC Cariappa says that she met him on Instagram. After getting close with her, it is said he promised her of marriage.

In a surprising twist, Cariappa has countered the accusations by filing a complaint against his ex-lover at the Bagalagunte police station. The cricketer vehemently denies all allegations, contending that the woman was involved in drug addiction.

He too spoke to NewsFirst Prime exclusively. He said, “I deny all the allegations levelled against me. She is also a drug addict.”

The episode is unfortunate and has the capacity to leave a lasting scar on the cricketer’s career.
