Actor Prakash Raj addressed a gathering in Thokkottu which lies in the outskirts of the Mangaluru city in Karnataka. This was during the 12th state conference of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI). “It has been more than 7 decades since we gained independence. Back then, leaders went on a hunger strike for freedom, but currently we have a leader who skipped his meals for the construction of a temple,” Prakash Raj said during the event.

Prakash accused Prime Minister Modi of fooling the nation. He stated that it is his responsibility as an artist to speak up against injustice. Prakash Raj maintained his comedic timing that is showcased in his films while attacking PM Modi. “The number of times he has flagged Vande Bharat, I don’t think even station masters can compete with him. There is no team that can kidnap better than the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). They have kidnapped Shaheed Bhgat Singh. They have kidnapped Sardar Vallabhai Patel. He cannot spare Rs 100 crore for drought relief. But he has 1000s of crores to spend on statues. Now they want to kidnap crores of people in the name of Rama and Lakshmana,” he said.
