In a harrowing incident unfolding in Hooghly’s Konnagar, a mother and her lesbian partner allegedly murdered her ten-year-old son, Shreyanshu Sharma, after he stumbled upon them in an intimate moment.

Identified as Shanta Sharma, the mother, and her partner, Ishrat Parveen, reportedly feared the child would disclose their relationship. Seized by panic, they brutally assaulted the boy, inflicting fatal head injuries and slashing his wrists, with the aim to conceal their secret.

Shockingly, it’s been revealed that Shanta’s husband was aware of her relationship but remained silent. The police, utilizing forensic expertise and CCTV surveillance, swiftly apprehended the perpetrators.

Investigation divulges that Shanta and Ishrat had been in a relationship predating Shanta’s marriage, causing significant distress to the child upon discovery.
