A tender would be published with regard to this project. A separate body named “Tadadi Eco Tourism Infrastructure Ltd” would be instated to oversee the developments of this project. MB Patil also stated that processes would be initiated for the transfer of 400 acres of land presently under the dispensation of the Karnataka Power Corporation Limited (KPCL) to the Karnataka State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIIDC).

In December 2020, a plan to build a multi-purpose all-weather port on the coastline of Tadadi was delisted as the KSIIDC failed to furnish relevant documents to obtain forest clearance.
