Tent houses built to accommodate devotees at Ayodhya

The tents are built akin to 5-star hotels

The tents charge Rs 9000 to Rs 10000 a day

The whole nation waits with bated breath as the Ram temple in Ayodhya will see a magnificent opening on January 22.

Preparations are going on in full swing to accommodate guests. A private company hailing from Gujarat is now erecting tent houses on the lines of a 5 star hotel in Brahma Kund. In all, there are 30 tents which have the best facilities available in town. Swanky rooms, hygienic toilets, good tables and spacious promenades are the hallmarks of these tents.

The private company has won a contract for the construction and maintenance of these tents for a period of 10 long years. These rooms will indeed play a pivotal role in helping guests find rooms as they pay obeisance to Lord Ram. At the same time, these rooms will also have a major say in boosting tourism.

When it comes to costs, you can book these rooms by spending Rs 9000 to Rs 10000 a day. Incidentally, these are not the only tents. There are several tents the government itself is erecting. The participation of private players ensures sustenance.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to it a few days ago and inaugurated a refurbished railway station and the international airport.

While addressing the humongous public gathering, he even urged people not to rush as it would be difficult accommodating them. The prime minister also urged the public to observe Deepawali as a part of the grand opening ceremony.

It was in 2019 that the Supreme Court decreed that the disputed land in Ayodhya must be given to Hindus. At the same time, it also ordered that 5 acres be given to the Muslim side to erect a mosque.
