Pets give unconditional love, compared to humans

Financial freedoms is not hurt if you have pets

Independence, no interference is the mantra

It may sound strange, but Double Income No Kids (DINK) couples are opting to have pets as children instead of human kids.

The shift is due to various reasons:

       1.  Light on the purse

Giving birth to a kid, raising it and giving it a good education can be financially draining. But on the other hand, raising a pet is not so exorbitant and it doesn’t kill the financial independence of such couples.

      2. Independence, no interference

As we give birth to a child, we need to modify our lifestyle so as to give it complete care. On the other hand, a dog or cat does not demand so. You can still be caring and concerned, but remain non-committal. Most importantly, animals always give us unconditional love, which human kids may not.

     3. Parenthood, yes, but in a different sense!

It’s not that DINk couples don’t want to become parents. But it is just that they like their furry kids better! Human kids can have a lot of demands, but surely not a dog or a cat!

     4. The stoicism!

When you return from the office stressed, your furry friends receive you the same way they receive you when you return happy! So there is emotional stability which you can enjoy!

The unconditional love they bring is phenomenal!
