  3. Women-safety islands to come up
  4. All events to close at 1 am
  5. 5200 constables, 1800 head constables, 600 assistant sub-inspectors, 160 inspectors
  6. 45 ACPs, 15 DCPs, 1 Jt CP, and 2 ACPs

To ensure good transportability, Namma Bengaluru too has come up with additional trips.

Here are all the details:

  1. Metro extends services till 1: 30 am
  2. Frequency of 15 minutes
  3. Last train from Majestic at 2: 15 am
  4. MG Road station shut from 11 pm

Apart from all these, the Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao has urged people to avoid crowded places and wear masks so as to mitigate the spread of covid.

With Bengaluru becoming a hotspot for Covid spread, it is feared the new year celebrations will only make matters worse.
