This breeding season has exacerbated the issue, with snakes frequently found inside homes across various localities. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has issued an alert, urging citizens to remain vigilant.

Reports indicate a significant uptick in helpline calls regarding snake encounters, especially from areas like Bommanahalli, Batarayanapura, Dasarahalli, Mahadevpura, and Rajarajeshwarinagar. The BBMP’s wildlife rescue team has fielded 100 calls in the past week, averaging 30 daily, predominantly from Yelahanka and Bommanahalli zones.
