The rescue operations of 2-year-old Sathwik who fell into a borewell has been successful. After his cries were heard, the rescue team was able to procure images of his head. He was then brought out of the borewell alive.
The operation efforts were carried out throughout the night in the Lachyana village located in the Indi Taluk of the Vijayanagara. After 12 hours of drilling, the cries of the baby were heard. It was then ascertained that the boy was healthy. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) officials were in a celebratory mood following the success of their operation.
A million prayers have indeed been answered as NDRF, SDRF personnel rescue 2-year-old Satwik, who had fallen into a borewell, for more than 20 hours.

Sathwik has been taken to the district hospital in Indi after his rescue. His life is not under danger. The approximate distance between Sathwik’s residence and the borewell is 80 metres.

The rescue operation took a lot of effort. Millions of people across Karnataka were praying for the boy’s recovery. Their prayers stand to be answered.
The officials ensured adequate oxygen supply to aid their rescue efforts. Rocks and stones were the biggest hurdles for the officials in their rescue operations. It would be apt to remark at this juncture that all is well that ends well.
