The latest prediction indicates that similar spells of rain can be expected over the course of the next three weeks. This update was provided by the Global Forecast System. The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre shared an update pertaining to this on the microblogging site X (formerly known as Twitter). May 8th and May 9th are anticipated to witness a particularly larger amount of rain.

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has been making arrangements in ight of these predictions. Canals are being cleared. Officials have been named for every ward.
