Dr CN Manjunath, a Padmashree awardee and a renowned cardiologist, philanthropist and a politician spoke to NewsFirst Prime’s Archana Reddy, a senior journalist about his remarkable journey which includes significant contributions to the field of cardiology and healthcare. 

Having conducted about fifty thousand operations himself, he spoke about how he’s always been a people’s man and led with the motto “Treatment First Payment Next concept”. He has exclusively implemented the concept that “every needy patient should be given quality treatment irrespective of financial affordability”.

He has shown the country how government hospitals can function like five-star corporate hospitals.
