The thrilling encounter between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ON 18th May had the entire nation glued to their television sets. RCB has booked a spot in the playoffs on account of their victory. West Indian batsman who had a phenomenal run with the RCB during his prime was spotted in the stadium’s gallery. Sandalwood actor Divine Star Rishab Shetty posed for a photo along with him. “It’s history!! My first match at stadium!! See you at the top! RCB(sic),” Rishab stated in a post on the microblogging site X (formerly known as Twitter).

Earlier CM Siddaramaiah was also seen in the stadium. He was accompanied by the former legislator Murugesh Nirani and the Home Minister of Karnataka Dr. G. Parmeshwara. Sandalwood actor Shivarajkumar was also present in their company. RCB fans clicked photos with him.

The match was affected by rain for a period of 30 minutes. However, due to the presence of an efficient drainage system, the officials managed to ensure that no overs were lost as a result of this rain. RCB would either face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) or Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the eliminator. Whether they’ll win their 7th match in a row remains to be seen.
