    Auction for series ‘KA 50/MD (Yelahanka RTO)’ at 12 pm on April 18

    Submit application along with a DD amounting to Rs 75,000

In accordance with Rule 46 (AA) of the Karnataka Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, the state transport department is extending an invitation for the allocation of distinctive vehicle registration numbers for Light Motor Vehicles (such as cars) within the range of 1 to 9999.

The auction is scheduled to take place at the Transport Commissioner’s Office in Shantinagar for the series ‘KA 50/MD (Yelahanka RTO)’ at 12 pm on April 18.

To participate in the auction, citizens are required to submit an application along with a Demand Draft (DD) amounting to Rs 75,000, made out in favor of the Secretary, State Transport Authority, Bengaluru (excluding DDs obtained from cooperative banks), along with the receipt. The submission deadline for both the DD and application is before 12 pm on April 18.

Applicants participating in the auction will be provided with tokens. Fancy numbers will be allocated to the highest bidders through an open auction process.

Successful bidders are obligated to settle the total bid amount in the form of a DD within two working days. Additionally, they must register their vehicle within 90 days. Failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of the bidding amount by the government.
