Deepanjali Nagar-PES College Link Nears Completion, Promising Faster Access to Hosur, Electronic City, Mysuru and Tumakuru Roads
Bengaluru commuters can soon look forward to smoother and faster travel, as another important stretch of the NICE Road project is nearing completion. The new link connecting Deepanjali Nagar and PES College is expected to open shortly, offering major relief to daily road users.
Most of the construction work on this route has already been completed, and final preparations are underway to make it operational. Once opened, the stretch will significantly improve connectivity from the city’s inner areas to key destinations such as Hosur Road, Electronic City, Mysuru Road and Tumakuru Road through the NICE Road corridor.
At present, commuters travelling from central parts of the city often face heavy congestion while moving towards these major highways. The new stretch will provide a faster alternative, allowing motorists to bypass crowded city roads and reach their destinations with ease.

The toll-based NICE Road corridor will offer traffic-free travel, helping commuters save time and avoid daily traffic bottlenecks. This is expected to be especially beneficial for office-goers, long-distance travellers, and commercial vehicle operators who regularly depend on these routes.
NICE Road Chief Ashok Kheny has confirmed that the opening of this stretch is planned soon, and has shared updates regarding the final stages of work. He said the project aims to improve urban mobility and ease the overall traffic burden on Bengaluru’s road network.
With this addition, connectivity between the city interior and key highway corridors will become more seamless. The project is expected to reduce congestion, improve travel efficiency, and enhance the overall commuting experience for Bengaluru residents.
