During an inspection at the Auto Tipper Mustering Centre near the Slum Development Board, Cholan emphasised that sanitation issues could no longer be ignored in a locality that sees lakhs of daily footfalls. He also made it mandatory for pourakarmikas and waste collection drivers to report to duty in proper uniforms, gloves, and safety gear between 5:30 am and 6:30 am.

To ensure accountability, Cholan instructed the setting up of a robust reporting system to track building debris clearance and monitor black spots. Warning officials of strict follow-ups, he underlined that Majestic must reflect Bengaluru’s civic pride.
