The annual flower show at Cubbon Park opened with an impressive public response, drawing large crowds on its very first day. According to reports from the Horticulture Department, the event recorded a total footfall of 33,500 visitors, reflecting strong enthusiasm from both families and regular park-goers.
Of the total turnout, 15,000 adults and 18,500 children visited the exhibition on Day 1. With entry charges fixed at ₹30 for adults and ₹10 for children, the flower show generated ₹2,24,980 in revenue during the opening day alone. In an added encouragement for students, schoolchildren arriving in uniform were given free entry, contributing to a higher number of young visitors.

The exhibition grounds at Cubbon Park remained lively throughout the day as visitors explored floral arrangements, thematic displays, and garden installations specially curated for the season. Organisers have stated that the annual event will continue to welcome the public until December 7, offering residents and tourists multiple opportunities to experience one of Bengaluru’s most popular cultural attractions.
With a promising start and steady crowd flow, the Cubbon Park flower show is expected to see even higher footfall over the coming days, especially during the weekend.
