A Wi-Fi network named ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ in Bengaluru’s Jigani area triggered tension and led Bajrang Dal to file a police complaint, prompting a probe into possible anti-national activity.
Tension gripped Jigani, on Bengaluru’s outskirts, after a Wi-Fi network titled ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ was spotted in Kallubalu village earlier this week. The incident came to light when local resident B Govardhan Singh noticed the name while scanning for internet connections. Alarmed by the title, he recorded a video and reported the matter to the police.

Following this, Bajrang Dal members filed a formal complaint at Jigani Police Station, alleging that anti-national elements might be operating in the locality. Acting on the complaint, police registered a Non-Cognisable Report (NCR) and began a technical investigation to trace the source of the signal.
Preliminary inquiries suggest that the Wi-Fi connection may belong to a co-operative bank in the area, though this is yet to be confirmed. A police technical team is now tracking the network range and verifying nearby routers. Officers have also visited surrounding houses but reported no suspicious activity so far.
