Bengaluru under yellow alert as rain persists till October 26

Light showers greeted the city on Wednesday, 22 October, as rain clouds continued to linger over Bengaluru. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert, warning residents of moderate rainfall and humid conditions till Sunday, 26 October.

Persistent showers have led to waterlogging in low-lying areas, resulting in traffic congestion on key routes. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys carefully and anticipate delays.

•    22 Oct: Cloudy skies with moderate rain; 26°C-21°C; humid (Yellow alert).
•    23 Oct: Moderate rain continues; 27°C-21°C; high humidity (Yellow alert).
•    24 Oct: Cloudy with moderate rainfall; 28°C-21°C; sticky weather (Yellow alert).
•    25 Oct: Continued moderate rain; 29°C-21°C; warm and humid (Yellow alert).
•    26 Oct: Cloudy with light rain; 29°C-20°C; muggy (Yellow alert).
•    27 Oct: Overcast, light rain; 30°C-20°C; slightly warmer (Yellow alert).
