A major recovery has been made as the investigation team tracks the stolen money across states, leading to the arrest of another suspect.
The investigation into the ₹7 crore robbery in Bengaluru has moved forward significantly, with police now recovering ₹5.3 crore of the stolen amount. The breakthrough came as teams followed leads obtained from two individuals earlier detained in Chittoor.

During the expanded search, officers traced one accused to Chennai, where he was found transporting the stolen money in a separate vehicle. He had reportedly moved the cash from Chittoor towards Tamil Nadu after it was shifted into another car at Gudipala. Acting on the specific intelligence gathered during questioning, the police intercepted the vehicle in Chennai, arrested the suspect and seized the money in his possession.
The latest arrest follows the interrogation of the two men detained in Chittoor, whose statements helped investigators identify the route and timings used by the group. This information enabled the police to track the movement of the cash, leading them directly to the accused as he attempted to flee with the money.
