According to police, the youths attempted to attack the officers and went a step further by trying to drive the car at the traffic personnel, daring them to seize the vehicle if they had the courage. In the chaos, Kishore, who was driving the Innova, accelerated and escaped from the spot, endangering the lives of the on-duty officers.

Despite the escape, Devanahalli traffic police swiftly acted and managed to detain Karthikeyan, Raghunandan and Pratap in connection with the incident. Police confirmed that the accused are residents of Singanayakanahalli and Vidyanagar.

A case has now been registered for attempting to assault police personnel, obstructing officials from discharging their duty, and attempting to run over traffic cops with a car. An FIR has been filed at the Devanahalli Police Station against Kishore, Karthikeyan, Pratap and Raghunandan. Further investigation is underway.
