Rajajinagar residents die on the spot after speeding car loses control and rams truck in Chittoor district
In a tragic road accident, five devotees from Bengaluru lost their lives after their car met with a severe crash near Palamaner in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor district. The victims were travelling to the Tirupati Temple when the accident occurred.
According to police, all five occupants of the car were residents of Rajajinagar in Bengaluru. The deceased have been identified as Mohandas (71), Nagaraj Rao, Kusuma (61), and Jayanti (59), along with one more person.

The group had set out together in a single car to seek darshan at Tirupati. While passing through the highway limits near Palamaner in Chittoor district, the car, which was reportedly moving at high speed, lost control and crashed into the rear of a truck moving ahead.
The impact of the collision was severe. The front portion of the car was completely crushed. All five passengers were trapped inside the mangled vehicle and suffered heavy bleeding. They died on the spot due to the intensity of the crash.
On receiving information about the accident, local police rushed to the scene. The bodies were carefully extricated from the damaged car and later shifted to a nearby hospital for post-mortem examination.
A case has been registered at the Palamaner Police Station, and further investigation into the accident is underway.
