In a strongly worded post, Joshi questioned the administration’s decision to allow goods and heavy vehicles to ply during daytime hours on a road that is supposed to be restricted for such movement. “How are goods vehicles allowed in the morning on Airport Road? Aren’t they permitted only between 10 PM and 6 AM?” he wrote, tagging Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar to take immediate action.

The former cricketer highlighted how the movement of these vehicles is blocking the fast lanes, causing severe inconvenience to regular commuters and air travellers. He urged authorities to strictly enforce the traffic regulations and ensure that heavy vehicles are restricted to designated hours.

Bengaluru, often dubbed the Silicon City, continues to make national headlines for its crumbling infrastructure, pothole-ridden roads, garbage issues, and worsening traffic snarls. Citizens and celebrities alike have repeatedly raised their voices online, demanding urgent infrastructural reforms.
