Developed plots to be shared 50:50 with landowners; project in partnership with private developers to generate Rs 4,182 crore revenue.
Bengaluru is set to witness a futuristic transformation as the Karnataka Cabinet approved the construction of an integrated high-tech township near Yelahanka. The project, spanning 95 acres 13 guntes in Chikkajala and Meenukunte villages, will be executed in partnership with private developers at an estimated cost of Rs 2,930 crore, including land costs.

Under the plan, developed plots will be allocated to landowners in a 50:50 ratio, ensuring equitable benefits from the initiative. The innovative township will feature multi-storey residential complexes, commercial spaces, prestigious hotels, and office buildings, reflecting a blend of modern urban planning and high-tech infrastructure.

The Karnataka Housing Board (KHB), while not investing capital in the project, is projected to earn Rs 1,252 crore. The overall project is expected to generate a total income of Rs 4,182 crore. In a significant step towards implementation, the Cabinet has also approved land conversion and map approvals from the Bangalore International Airport Area Planning Authority.
