Pradeep Nagar, the father, accompanied by his wife and two daughters, arrived at the wedding venue. While the mother and elder daughter exited the car, Pradeep proceeded to park the vehicle, as recounted by Khatoli police station SHO Banna Lal.

Tragically, presuming both daughters had joined their mother inside, Pradeep locked the car and joined the festivities. For approximately two hours, the parents engaged with various attendees, unaware of Gorvika’s absence.

It wasn’t until they reunited and inquired about their younger daughter that panic set in. Their frantic search led them back to the car, where they discovered Gorvika unconscious in the back seat. Rushing her to a hospital proved futile, as doctors pronounced her dead upon arrival, lamented Mr. Lal.

In a somber turn, the grieving parents have declined an autopsy and opted against filing a police case. This devastating incident serves as a poignant reminder of the dangers posed by negligence in ensuring child safety.
